RollyBallGame - Official Demo Game

Hey guys,

I put together a little demo game to demonstrate/test PushButton Engine. Check it out:

Play Rolly Ball (ver 7)

It is meant to be a) kind of fun and b) an example of a "real" game that you might build with PushButton Engine. It has sound effects, multiple levels, UI elements, custom components, a preloader, etc. - most of the pieces you would see in a real game. It took a little over a week to make.

The code for this game is in SVN, in Projects/Demos/RollyBallGame. I used L3DT to create the levels. I can upload the level source if people care, but it's big and only useful if you own L3DT so I haven't for now.

The whole thing is available for educational/learning purposes. If you want to use code from it in a real project, just PM/e-mail me to get permission.

I am planning on going back and adding more comments to help clarify what is going on. Meanwhile if you have questions feel free to ask and I will explain as best I can.

Thanks!

Are there different source code licenses for the repository? I thought the whole public SVN was MIT.

Thanks!

Different stuff is under different licenses - for instance Box2D has its own license, as does fzip and FlexLib. So this isn't much different. We could go with GPL if "educational use only" is too vague. :)
