Mine Enemy

Mine Enemy was an entry by ROM12 ( http://rom12studios.com/ ) into the 2009 Christian Developers Network Speedgame ( http://speedgame.christiandevs.com/ ), where we had two weeks to create a game from start to finish.

We used PushButton Engine as the engine for our project, and we were able to get a good start on things by leveraging source code from PushButton Labs as well as the community forums. Level maps were created in Tiled, saved in XML, and parsed by a PushButton component in our game. Our artists created all original artwork. Original music was created by none other than PBLab’s own Ben Garney!

We placed first in the “Polish” category, and third in the “Fun” category.
